This place is off the beat and path for those outside of Mayaguez, but it's worth visiting. We went during the sunset, and it was stunning. It's right along the beach and has both indoor and outdoor seating. The food was delicious, and the prices were below average for PR. Had the same plate (grilled salmon with mashed vegetables) the following day in a different restaurant in Rincon, and it was $6 more. The waiter attended to us quickly. He was knowledgeable of everything on the menu and even provided suggestions. The drinks were good. I really couldn't have asked for anything else. Let's face it: the truth is... you are in an island where the authentic food is Latin, yet there is a pizzeria. And it is amazing for Ricans! It is "hand tossed" and honestly; it has to be the in the water itself by the Atlantic Ocean because the bread is up there with Staten Island, New York! We got the plain cheese pizza 8' $16 and it was what we needed and filling! I will be back! This place is clean, as clean as any Orlando/ATL bar is that is open until 2 am! If you are looking for a super clean spot, and awesome "stand by your side" table service, stop!. You are going to get islanders that are pleased to assist but are similar to you and I.. life. For my wife, it was a walk down memory lane as we came across almendras and higueras trees, which brought back fond memories. The park struck a perfect balance between tranquility and functionality, with a quiet area to relax and a nearby playground for kids to enjoy.
