Landerhaven: October Magic Under the Lights! (Astrid and Aria Photography Approved!)
Alright, folks, let's talk Landerhaven! We at Astrid and Aria recently had the absolute pleasure of capturing a wedding there on a perfect October 3rd night, and let me tell you, it was a total vibe. Forget your average wedding venue; Landerhaven knows how to throw a party!
First off, the ambiance? Pure magic. The way they light up the grounds at night is seriously stunning. The gardens, the patios, everything just glowed with this warm, romantic light that made every shot look like it was straight out of a movie. We were snapping away, capturing those golden hour moments that stretched into the night, and it was just⌠chef's kiss.
The indoor spaces? Equally impressive. Theyâre spacious, elegant, and super versatile. We loved how the couple transformed the ballroom into a dance floor that was absolutely bumping. The acoustics were on point, the lighting was perfect, and the energy was through the roof. We got some epic shots of everyone cutting loose, from the grandparents busting a move to the bridal party showing off their best dance floor skills.
And can we talk about the staff? Seriously, they were like wedding ninjas. Always there when you needed them, but never in the way. They were organized, efficient, and just genuinely happy to be part of the celebration. They made our job so much easier, allowing us to focus on capturing all the fun and emotion of the night.
October 3rd in Cleveland can be a gamble, but Landerhaven nailed it. The weather was perfect, the venue was stunning, and the atmosphere was electric. We got some seriously gorgeous shots of the couple and their guests, and we left with smiles on our faces and a ton of amazing memories.

   Read moreIâll start with the good: the food was amazing. Every guest we talked to noted how delicious their meals were! The pre-event coordination was sufficient. Renovations to the venue are nice. The food is really the only reason I can give it two stars. The bad: the service wasâŚbad. For the price of this venue, it was not OK. Two bartenders for 225 people made for extremely long bar lines. The coordinator on the day didnât communicate with us (bride and groom), important tables were skipped in delivering meals, the cheese tray appetizer presentation looked like a hurricane hit, the tent we were married in was boiling hot and staff didnât think to open the sides of the tent, the bridal suite was NOT stocked with beverages or appetizers as promised, bridal suite doors locked behind us and we couldnât access our bagsâmy MOH had to go into the kitchen to get the room unlocked since she couldnât find any staff to do this, the head table wasnât offered any drinks (we did all the toasts with glasses of water). My mom, the mother of the bride, literally could not get a drink during the entire event. For the money, Landerhaven was disappointing. I know the service industry is struggling to staff but for what we paid the venue, it was unacceptable. Our family has been going to Landerhaven for decades of parties but the quality of service has changed dramatically under new owners, Driftwood Catering. We brought our concerns to the Vice President and she did not follow up at all. They lost long-standing, faithful clients after this wedding.    Read moreI had my wedding here in aug . It was a last stitch effort to have my wedding since last Years venue was canceled because of covid. They had all of aug available so I went with it . Granted the place is nice ! The first event planner I had just one day stopped taking my calls . When I went for my dinner tasting the lady,Who arranged that told me I would be if be contacting her from then out. If you want a event planner that answers the phone , is excited to help And there if you have questions this isnât the place for you! Doesnât matter how much you pay because I spent over 16k and couldn't get simple questions answered for weeks at a time! I honestly feel like being a younger black couple they just didnât take us serious or we werenât a real Priority ! The food at the tasting was delish The food at my wedding was blah. Nothing like what I tried . Also my event planner didnât even show the day of !!! They charge for every little teeny tiny thing ! If you give them a budget , prepare to go over ! Seem like their more interested in events like shows and pop up shops over weddings ! The service staff I will say , considering my event planner didnât show was AMAZING! I know they were stressed but they were the best part ! The barmaids all the service staff ! I wouldnât recommend this Place for the amount of money they want ! Their customer service sucks..
