Lake Medina — Attraction in Medina

This is a small lake that comes from a man made reservoir. It is off Medina Rd. There is a parking lot for about 35 cars. There is a porta potty. The lake is scenic and has a nice paved walking trail. Fishing is allowed and no fishing license is required. It looks very difficult for fishing though because the banks are very steep and are covered with broken concrete. When you get down the incline, there is really no good place to stand and fish. There is only one small place that I saw where maybe 2 or 3 people could fit next to each other by standing at the edge of the water to fish together. We did not see any...

A fairly big lake from a man made reservoir. There are two parking lots. The one I was in was very small, but there is a porta potty. The lake has a very nice view. It would be a great spot to come in the fall. The top trail/track is paving stone and the bottom is a paved walking trail. Fishing is allowed and there is a catch limit. fishing can become somewhat difficult as you cannot get too close to the lake because of the stone retaining wall. While seemingly not the largest park I've ever been to, it still has more than enough trail length for a decent walk.

In the summer, it is very lush, though the raised shore of the lake does make the sun feel more aggressive than normal.
