Girlfriend and I were staying in Medina, and decided to have breakfast at their location there. We were stopped at the door by a posted sign stating “No open carry” and “No firearms permitted”. As my girlfriend and I were both legally armed, and didn’t feel like walking back to the car to secure our firearms, we walked down to the deli a few doors down, and spent our money there for sandwiches. Now, I can understand that despite Ohio always being an open carry state, there are unfortunately people who are uncomfortable at the sight of even a holstered firearm, and therefore Yours Truly choosing to not allow it in their establishment. But to risk their customers’ safety by expecting them to be completely defenseless? (Not like that “no guns” sign is going to stop an armed criminal from walking in and harming people.) Not to mention, to infringe on their Constitutional rights? Nope. I’ll spend my money at establishments that don’t discriminate against...
Read moreI read so many reviews about this place and I was amazed how people liked this place. Maybe the person who was serving my table was having an existential crisis or some other problem because she was very unpleasant to me. Just asking for a simple glass of water, she was completely annoyed with anything I said or asked. First she gave me attitude because it took me a while to place my order, after that it was just downhill… She pretended she didn't understand what I was saying and then I asked for a glass of water and she looked at me completely nasty. So I asked to speak to the manager, and asked him to change my waitress… I have to say that I have worked with the public for years and have never seen anything like this! So unprofessional and everything happened in front of my family. Anyway, it's just a rant because going out to eat is not only expensive, but it should be something enjoyable for you to enjoy with your family. Completely disappointed...
Read moreI wouldn't recommend ANYONE eating at this particular location. I worked here in the kitchen and lets just say, if the customers KNEW how nasty the kitchen was, they would NOT eat there. The line cooks will go outside and smoke and will return on the line without washing their hands. Most of the line cooks and prep cooks DO NOT wash off the fruits and vegetables before serving them. The knives they use are NEVER cleaned and the egg slicer for the salads is NEVER cleaned. Raw products such as bacon and beef are always near the ready to eat foods which is cross contamination. I feel really bad for the customers who come out to support this particular location because the way they handle the food is careless and I pray no one gets sick due to poor management and workers who neglect their hygiene. I've witnessed line cooks coughing in their hands while wearing gloves. Playing in their hair, and not changing their gloves after touching...
