Africa In April Festival — Attraction in Memphis

This is a great festival. The vendors are so kind, funny, and chill people. This was my first time going. So much beautiful things to get there to. However, I tried calling them to make sure I had the location right, but no one was able to answer the phone. When they did, I couldn't hear them. The festival is on beale street, why Google is saying Mississippi Blvd idk. Don't go there. The website has the location. It is very expensive. Parking is $10, and to get in is $10. Now add another friend or family member and you'll probably spend $40+ just to get in. Most vendors do not accept card, so the ATM is your friend. (Or just bring cash.) Vendors prices range from 5$ to $35 for each item. This is gonna snatch your wallet....

Unfortunately, one of the vendors selling cologne and perfume was a crook. The bottles were professionally packaged as if they were legitimate products, however they were anything but. Once opening the packaging and using the cologne, I quickly discovered I got conned. It was water with a hint of cologne that dissipated within seconds. The cost doubled from $5 last year to $10 this year just to get in. That's a big increase for a family to get into a festival especially when you have to pay to park and want to buy from the vendors.
