Gaisman Park — Attraction in Memphis

Very nice and clean park with swings and other playground equipment in one area ,in a different area away from playground is 2 in ground basketball hoop with nets along with a black toped track that goes all the way around the park for walking/jogging the park is wide open no limited viewing dogs are welcomed but must be on a leash at all times for safety reasons there is also outside a opened faced but designated area bday party's / family reunion concrete /brick covered pavilion/ grill not included located in the middle of park between playground and baseball field there is a parking lot entrance is on macon where the pool is located CLOSED TIL MAY2021 THE OFFICE IS OPEN MONDAY -FRIDAY ALSO HAS A INDOOR gym for basketball games during the summer for the youth day camp has program for senior citizens and other programming park is open from sunrise to sunset 7days a week no weapons no drugs or alcohol permitted no security guards on...

It's close to home, relatively clean and safe (depending on the time of day). It's often packed when the weather is nice, so I'm always watching my kids like a hawk. Better safe than sorry, anywhere in Memphis. Definitely worth a visit for the playground and swings for toddlers and small kids. Big kids will be a bit bored or may just want to run around in the open...
