This is a wonderful area to visit, walk, run or bike. As a senior citizen with a bad back, it is very ENCOURAGING TO myself and others to know that there are a number of park benches and picnic tables along the way where one can sit down and rest. This appears to be a safe place to recreate, but situational awareness is always in order. Keep your eyes and ears open at all times and do not be entranced by or constantly engaged with your cell phone. Carrying pepper spray is advisable for any sudden, unforeseen dangers, to include dogs and nefarious human beings. BE PREPARED!
