I would love to give this place 5 stars, but I can only do three. Here’s why. When we first get here (we not anyone in my group had ever been here before) there was no one directing traffic, nor any signage whatsoever telling us where the entrance was. We see a tractor go into what appears to be the parking area. We pull in and once in going down the one lane gravel lane we realize we pulls in the exit and not the entrance. Got plenty of dirty looks, oh well too late now. When we find our parking spot we park at the end of an already well established row matter of fact we were the last in the row to park. And again no parking attendant at this time directing traffic. 3 cars had pulled in right behind me in front of of cars of an established row. There was still about 1 1/2 -2 car lengths between us. We get out and wait for my son and his family to get out of their car which was next to us. We wait there almost 20 minutes while they get the grandkids out in the stroller etc. the people that pulled in behind us is also getting out of there cars. All of a sudden a young parking attendant probably in his 20’s shows up. Stand there for about 5 minutes. My wife has to get in our truck to get something so I unlock it she gets it we shut it back up and lock it back. The attendant asks if that’s my truck I said yes. He says you have to move it. I asked why he said because the people behind me can’t get out. I laughed and said I believe there’s more than plenty of room for them to get out. He proceeded to tell me I’m wrong and I had better move. I asked the people behind me if they have enough room to get out when they’re ready to leave. They looked at the space between us also laughed and said I think we can make that. Yet the attendant still demanded I move. I told him really if your going to make someone move it should be the three cars behind me that clearly parked wrong not me. We walked away. There was not enough grounds attendants to be sure there little attractions where safe. At the bouncy houses they had teenagers overseeing them. Well at one of them there were 10-12 year old kids climbing and jumping on the top over the play area and could fall on littler kids beneath them. I asked one of the girls attending there should they be up there like that. She said I’ve told them all day they won’t stop and I don’t care anymore.
No don’t get me wrong, my family and I did enjoy our time there and we do plan to go back next year. I believe they need to have better trained staff and have signs as to the parking and what’s not allowed at the attractions. Also… the bees were horrible couldn’t enjoy a beer or...
Read moreWe went to their 2021 Ballon Glow event. I am not going to go into the details but it was not quite what was advertised and what anyone would expect given their advertising, false advertising.
The worst part was leaving the event with many hundreds of cars idling for 1 to 3 hours on a grassy field. Luckily there was some rain so the grass wasn’t completely dry, otherwise we would be in a risk of catching fire from hot engines.
Everyone was trying to squeeze into a single line leading to already crowded country road. The road was crowded by the traffic from their other parking lot.
There was not a single employee helping with directing traffic on the grassy field parking lot! People where cursing and honking. Cars towards the end of the field were stuck and not moving for hours.
These employees left after making sure everyone paid leaving hundreds of cars and people figure it out on their own and that is OK to the owner seeing his condescending replies here.
There was only one cop directing traffic on the country road in one direction where cars were trying to turn on the county road. The other direction was not managed making it slower and inefficient for cars to leave the event to the extent that some waiting hours to make it out. Also it was not very clear what the cop was doing it was too dark to see him well.
This lack for safety and care was unreal! Seeing the owner’s responses here I can see that they simply do not care. I was watching their FB page and noticed the negative comments were disappearing. This means the ratings on their FB will always be positive for all their events.
Lastly, this is not a farm. Going to their events you are not helping a farmer. Yet another owner’s trick. It is like calling Walmart a bar because they too sell alcohol.
All the owner is capable doing seeing complaints online is deleting them from Facebook and responding with condescending style here.
Needles to say, I will not be coming back to any of...
Read moreMy husband and I recently had our dream wedding at Brookdale Farms and we cannot say enough good things about this incredible venue. From the moment we first stepped foot on the property, we knew it was the perfect place for our special day.
The grounds at Brookdale Farms are simply breathtaking. The rolling hills, beautiful trees, and charming barns provided the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception. We were also impressed with the variety of options for indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing us to customize our day exactly how we wanted it.
One of the best parts of our experience at Brookdale Farms was working with Danyelle and her team. From the very beginning, Danyelle was dedicated to making our wedding day everything we had envisioned. She helped us plan every step of the way, from selecting the perfect vendors to coordinating the timeline for the day. She was always available to answer our questions and offer helpful suggestions, making the planning process much less stressful.
But what truly sets Brookdale Farms apart is the level of care and attention to detail that Danyelle and her team put into our wedding day. They truly went above and beyond to make everything perfect. From ensuring the decor was set up just right to making sure our guests were comfortable and taken care of, Danyelle and her team were on top of every little detail. They even surprised us with a few special touches that made our day even more memorable.
Thanks to Danyelle and the team at Brookdale Farms, our wedding day was absolutely perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or a more dedicated and talented team to work with. We highly recommend Brookdale Farms to anyone who wants a beautiful and stress-free wedding day. Thank you again for making our wedding day so special and...
