Phase II Of The Meriden Linear Trail — Attraction in Meriden

Update: A couple of months ago, there was a bald eagle perched on a tree. Last week there was a molting snake right on the trail and a beaver running towards the bushes 🧐 Today we heard a huge splash on the water and saw an eagle caught a fish and flew away. Must’ve been the same bald eagle we saw a couple of months ago. But everyday since spring started, we see different beautiful birds. I particularly like the cardinals. Nature walk’s always the best😍😍😍😍

Not gonna lie... I do miss the dirt trails in the center but from what I saw, many of them are still there so I guess it's cool they paved the main trail. I've always been the type to go off the beaten path though, I'm a hiker, not a jogger so I get thrills out of the dirt and rocky paths. For families and joggers though I think it's awesome! Make sure to bring the bug spray though!! Once you get close to the water the squitos (mosquitos, in case you don't get the reference)...

Absolutely beautiful. Was so nice to be able to get out there again with the warm weather . Absolutely gorgeous with all the swans coming back to the pond to lay they're eggs again and wait for they're babies to hatch and see them grow up and come back again next year.
