There is a very large park on the southwest side of the lake with a nice beach, a huge modern play area for kids, a track for kids to ride big wheels, which are supplied free of charge, lots of picnic space, and a snack shop close to the beach. There is an entry fee per vehicle to the park.
On the north side of the lake is a newly remodeled boat launch with over 20 parking spaces. The lake itself has a good population of Pam fish pike, and largemouth bass, and you may puck up an occasional catfish. It's large enough for skiing, sailing, and jet skis. It's fairly weedy, especially in the south end.

Between it and the road is a well shaded very old park with many grill and picnic stations, a pavilion and an amphitheater which has live music every friday night throughout the summer.
