Metamora Courthouse in Metamora, Illinois. Beautiful. Simple. Built in 1845. Still standing. Now serving as an educational museum. Exhibits include 1850’s court system and Lincoln’s life then. The histories of Woodford County during the time prior to, including and after Abraham Lincoln practicing law in this very Courthouse.
