I don't have any photos to add but I will let you know, that I was there minding my own business in a shelter area because they have electricity in the shelter area and I was using the electricity plugging up a coffee pot and a speaker external speaker and I was streaming on my phone there's an app that I like to stream on and talk to people and I would use the electricity to brew coffee and play music with a Bluetooth speaker hooked up to the electric but someone I don't know who they didn't tell me who someone called the Mexico public safety department on me because I guess in my streaming my voice was loud and carried across the park from the shelter area over by the playground area I did see a lady over there with a toddler but I wasn't going over to the playground area I could care less about anybody else in the park I was more concerned about or just focused on myself having coffee with my friends while I was streaming on my phone I can do that it's my phone, but the Mexico public safety showed up and told me that someone called them to tell them that I Leslie Rosenthal said something about children. Now I don't know what that means, I think I do recall reading a comment while I was streaming where someone wrote don't do drugs kids. Now this app that I was on which is called MeetMe people it's an adult I mean it's an adult app and it's moderated and someone wrote that I guess they thought that I was on drugs and I read it out loud so I guess some lady who had their small child in the park or the playground area heard me say that and got paranoid so they called the cops on me and of course the cop said well you've done nothing wrong but they did ask me to leave because someone called them and said that I said something about children. Now we all are children aren't we I know I can probably confess that I am a child of God That's my choice to say that right or wrong. So I didn't have a very good experience the last time I was at Lakeview Park because there's nosy people out there in Mexico Missouri that want to call the cops on me well big deal I can say anything I want out loud. You should hear me screaming into my phone right now doing this review so Lakeview Park you're not getting a good review...
Read moreLakeview Park is a picturesque community park. It features a lovely fishing lake with a covered, handicapped accessible dock. There are three covered shelters for gatherings. Thete are restroom facilities located near the largest shelter. This park, also, has an RV/Camping area with electric set up and dumping station. There is a nominal fee to use the RV/Camping sites. Lakeview has a well-maintained, fully-paved walking path that encircles the lake. The newest addition to the park is the renovated play area. The new play area features many interactive play areas and (while not completely handicapped accessible) is...
Read moreI'm going to give this park one star, merely because there is a paved walking path and playground. Fishing, which is my goal, is pointless! There are too many "anglers", I guess we'll call them, that come there to fish. My guess is that since it's a city park, there aren't any regulations to size so, lots of people taking with no regard to the fish population controls normally seen at Missouri Conservation Areas. I do still enjoy going there to put in the kayaks. If you're just trying to get outta the house and...
