Original post Sale Manager attitude reflects on staff, unfriendly, rude, and unprofessional. Entered this establishment to pickup items purchased by the customer X . Out of 5 persons working (1 of which was a cleaning service person) NO ONE! BUT THE CLEANING PERSON SAID said "good afternoon".I made eye contact with two male sales associate who walked past me as if I was not there. Finally after 10 min of listening to an older lady and young sales person discuss an issue involving a customer of COLOR who visited this establishment earlier that day, their personal thoughts about that individual (this was done all in Spanish in front of a person who is Bilingual). The work shirt saying Jose' should have been a hint! I have some part of her attention, when she asks the young salesman to "Find out why HE is here. So I explain, (in English) I am with a package delivery service, here to pickup items I was contacted by the customer X to pickup said items. I'm then told by the older saleswoman that, she needs the customers name and phone number.Which I did not have, but fine.I don't know her or them, they don't know me. I contact the customer and ask for a copy of the receipt, just to make sure we do not have any misunderstanding, while waiting the older saleswoman is told a call is on the line for her(still on Spanish). From sitting 3 feet away I can, with amazing skill hear both sides of the conversation.....the customer on the phone was calling to speak to the Manager about a refund that needed to be issued,at this point I find out that the older saleswoman is Actually The Store Manager Herself, customer X sends me the name of the sales person to whom they had made the purchase from.I relay this to Store Manager, then says to the young salesman, (Spanish still) oh that's (the salesman name I mentioned)white(GRINGO'S) customers that were here yesterday, so I ask is the salesman there? "Yes!", I'm told, "he is in back"....another 5 minutes go by,Customer X sends an digital copy of the receipt with the sales order number, which I provide verbally. Now since the items are identified through the receipt, I'm shown where they are on the sales floor.I proceed to blanket wrap the items for protection while in transit. When I her the Sales Manager state (Spanish) "I need to get a copy of HIS drivers licence, his name, and HIS signature saying that HE took possession of these items. At this point I have had it with these individual.I have provided the receipt provided by this company as proof of sale and for pickup. Now you wanna play,in my best Cuban taught Spanish taught in Kendall , and cultivated in the Streets Hialeah. I tell all of them " No firmaré nada, no fui contratado por usted o su compañía. así que olvídalo." and left ( translation I am not signing nothing, I don't have a contract with you or your company, so for get it.). I will reach out. Upper management in regards to this problem. Update May 15th No response from whomever reviews this post, but you surely can find my name and contact the area manager for the company I was contacted by"BUNGII". So question what happened to the store manager? Most likely nothing, because I am the troublemaker that wrote the review of your employees inability to perform the simplest act of common courtesy and decency, just because THEY thought I did not speak Spanish *Update * I'm waiting for a response, acknowledgement that this was at least looked at but that would, I guess that to much to ask, when a person feel RACIALLY PROFILED, and conspired against for expressing disdain for treatment inflicted by the staff and most of all the Manager of the store. I find it funny how quickly the response time is for customer who advise you as well as others of the poor craftsmanship, lack of customer service, but when a person has a very negative interaction with staff, which has been selected by you and or your h.r. staff...
Read moreI purchased a recliner sofa set from Rana Furniture and had it delivered on 10/08. The delivery guys were extremely rushed, kept saying “the app is ringing” and that they had to leave, and did not give me any time to properly inspect the sofa. Before they left, I noticed paint splashes on the cup holders. When I pointed it out, the delivery guy just said, “Oh, call customer service, there’s probably a spray that gets rid of it so we don’t have to take it back.”
Later, I realized the couch also had scratches and some seats looked used compared to the other section. The same day of delivery and By the very next day (10/09), I was already contacting Rana Furniture to report the issues. Mind you, I paid $500 for a warranty on this sofa, yet they told me what I signed says no exchange or refund. This makes no sense because the warranty is supposed to cover problems like this.
I paid over $3,800 for this sofa, and it is overwhelming how little they care about their customers. This is not right or fair. Their so-called 3-year warranty and 7-day warranty from purchase are both misleading – they sell you promises that mean nothing once they have your money. All they care about is making the sale. After you pay, they don’t stand behind their products or take responsibility.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. Buying here feels like a complete trap. I will also be spreading the word further so people know not to waste their hard-earned money with Rana Furniture.
Read moreOur experience at Rana Furniture was AWFUL! My parents were in the impression that they were purchasing high end furniture mind it, they spent nearly $8,000 dollars. Sales represtatibe even offer my parents a WARRANTY that cost over $600 dollars! After less than 2 years of use, w no pets and no children’s in the house where just my 2 elderly parents live the furniture it’s DESTROYED! We went ahead and called the store and try to place a warranty only to find out that the warranty was NOT VALID for the furniture, they claimed they don’t warranty that type of furniture because after a year it start wearing off, so no we are left with horrible furniture and no warranty money we placed a claim and they returned partial amount of the money but not all of it. Along with this issue, we were told we had financing free for 36 months and even signed paperwork stating that, the bank just charged $1780 on interest after 24 months! When my parents only owes an amount of $1200 dollars on the balance! I WILL BOT RECOMMEND ANYBODY TO PURCHASE FROM ANY RANA FURNITURE! They took advantage of elderly people to gain profit and they were not truthful about financing terms, in total we have spent $10,000 for furniture that it’s DESTROYED in less than 2 years! I am placing a claim with the Better Business Bureau! ON TOP OF IT ALL! And what I think it’s VERY POOR FOR THE IMAGE OF THE COMPANY when it comes to the people that represent that company, when we came in we asked for a supervisor and this lady claimed the supervisor was off, and directed us to a sales representative to help us, when I did some research after I left, I find out that the woman that claimed the manager was off and that stood listening to us make the claim and argue the situation with the representative WAS THE MANAGER! This lady lied to us in our face and CLAIMED THE MANAGER WAS OFF, when SHE is in fact the manager, ANAKARINA ESSER so we continue to be lied to by management team. We came in asking for the manager and the MANAGER said that there was no manager available! Lies on...
