Gaunt Park — Attraction in Miami Township

Great Pool -- 2 diving boards --nice shallow area (they shouldn't allow large floats there or the big kids) ---a large middle with changing depth --- and a nice gated wading pool for little ones (wish they wouldn't let big kids in there during adult brakes -- need to keep those older kids OUT)

The Life Guards are great -- (they need better whistles)

Clean and well maintained --- nice snack bar with decent choices

I bring my kids (from the child care center I work at) and they LOVE it --- I just wish the other parents would be more proactive in making their kids follow basic safety rules (no running especially across other peoples belongings --- or running and jumping in the pool -- jumping is FUN -- just do it from the edge so they don't accidentally jump on...

This is a nice park. While not the biggest park, they do a great job with what they have there. They also recently paved the parking lot, which makes it much better. They have a pool, and when the pool is open they have restrooms that can be used. When the restrooms aren't open, they have a port-a-potty for emergencies. They have baseball fields (I think one is a softball field). They also have a small playground meant for smaller kids. It has an open area that can be used for other things (Wednesday nights is always a group of people playing some aggressive frisbee) and there is a nice hill that's great for...

Pristine natural location--well maintained grassy lawn with two ball diamonds, large open fields, and on the hill above, a swimming pool.
