Great fun. Better than Monet experience, Van Gogh Experience and Nature Center holiday walk. Suitable for any age. Event was kept upbeat and didn't dwell on darker characters of HP. It was a well-designed show and there was attention to detail such as port-o-potties were concealed behind bamboo screens and food booths were decorated to consistently match the mood of the show. A little confusing when "Beasts and where to find them" characters were mixed into mostly HP themed visuals. Walking is a bit treacherous for people with vision or balance issues because walkways are dark, uneven and rocky. Plenty of tasty food options (I had steak skewers and hot cider), though some are silly expensive (extra $10 for an oversized toasted marshmallow and $20 for a butter beer with a commemorative mug.) Wand was fun toy and enhanced the experience, but not sure if it was worth an additional $50-- and check the batteries-- we had to go back to the gift shop to have them replaced (no additional charge). Several stores were available at the event with opportunities to buy a wide variety of merchandise. Cub Camp was a great location for this event. Lots of mature trees, pathways allowed for surprise reveals of interactive stations and special effects. Staff throughout the venue were very supportive and upbeat. Colored up-lighting and a great sound system throughout the walk was magnificent and set the mood for the event. Many interactive stations (bowing to the hippogrif, practicing wand skills with Harry, and conjuring your patronus were very fun, and there were also great special effects such as roaming unicorns out in the woods, Aragon the giant spider, and a magic finale at the...
Read moreMy Harry Potter Forest Experience started with a delicious and fancy Butter Beer (hot chocolate) and having my “House”proclaimed by the Sorting Hat! Following a misty trail through the woods, lit by colorful lights and accompanied by familiar Harry Potter music, my family and I were delighted by the many interactive stations. With wands, purchased or borrowed, visitors could cast spells and make the characters come alive, create a patronus, or have a light dual! Some of my favorite parts were: the bowing giant Hippogriff, seeing unicorns pass through the woods, and watching kids create their Patronus! It was a really enjoyable evening, very family friendly and perfect for any Harry Potter fan! Wear good walking shoes, dress warmly, and have a...
Read moreIf you’ve ever dreamed of stepping straight into the wizarding world, this is it. The Forbidden Forest Experience was absolutely enchanting from start to finish — glowing Patronuses, flickering lanterns, and spellcasting spots that make you feel like a real witch or wizard. The trail is breathtaking at night, the lights are stunning, and the atmosphere? Straight-up magical.
We sipped butterbeer, cast spells, met unicorns and hippogriffs, and fangirled over every little detail. The staff were in full character and made it feel like Hogwarts had come to life right here in the woods.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — A must-do for every Potter fan. Grab your wand, bundle up, and prepare for pure...
