Disney Cruise Line — Attraction in Miami

Very disappointing first cruise experience. This was my first cruise, and unfortunately, it was quite a disappointment. If you’re not traveling with a large family, be prepared to be seated with strangers for every dinner reservation. They grouped by language or nationality. Imagine trying to enjoy dinner while people you don’t know are sitting right next to you, clearly listening to your conversations. It was extremely uncomfortable.

I requested to change our seating multiple times, but Guest Services just kept brushing it off. They made it seem like they’d help, but in the end, nothing changed. With over 3,000 passengers onboard, it felt like everything was automated and impersonal.

Another surprise was the automatic gratuity charges. You’re charged daily tips whether or not you’re satisfied with the service.

I want to give a huge shoutout to Alba from Disney Cruise Line’s customer service team ,she is absolutely the best! 💫

From the moment I spoke with her, she truly listened to my concerns with kindness and patience. Not only was she understanding, but she also went above and beyond to help me organize and arrange everything I needed for my trip. Her attention to detail and warm attitude made the whole experience so much easier and stress-free.

Disney is known for its magical service, and Alba is a perfect example of that. I’m incredibly grateful for her help ,she made me feel heard, supported, and excited for my cruise.

We went on the Disney Magic out of Miami port. The port is easy to get to and the ship is the best. It’s a smaller ship I think but so worth it. Disney has 5star service and they honestly create a magical experience. I did feel sorry for some of the life guards as a big family with lots of kids treated them disrespectful, but the lifeguards were amazing on how they handled them. During covid I felt so safe and Thank Everyone for doing such a great job We are two adults and the great thing is how they have the adult pool, lounges and deck. Disney is more in price over some other cruise ships, but there is a reason they are truly the best cruise...
