Middlefield Dog Park is a hidden little gem on Lake Beseck. Big, fenced in space for dogs of all sizes and ages to explore and make friends. Rules are posted and make sense... Dogs need to be current on shots, rabies, etc. and aggressive dogs are separated in a large fenced in area away from the dogs that are having fun and playing nicely together. I bring my puppy there and he comes home completely exhausted and we all know, a tired puppy is a fantastic puppy! lol Quiet setting, and kind of easy to find if you follow the GPS VERY closely. Bonus... really nice people are there too. Win win all around if you want to kill an hour or less (or more) with trails, obstacles, and room enough to run and chase each other, or chill by themselves and join in when they want to. The park itself was started as a Boy Scout project a few years back. Many thanks to the Boy Scouts and their sponsors for making the park and benches and area such a great...

Leash up, and take a 5 min little walk through the woods, following the signs. The dog park itself is in the woods, fenced in, with plenty of trees for shade and room for playing. There's always some toys lying around, just make sure to put them back where you found them so others can use as well! :) Bring a backpack with a jug of water, there's water bowls there for your convenience as well.
I love coming here. I sit on the bench, under the trees and relax while my pup gets his energy out....

The surface is basically a forest floor so there are rocks, sticks and leaves. This is not an open field with grass like some other dog parks I've been to. It was nice, and worth the 15 min drive to get there especially since there are not many off leash parks...
