This review is for Oct 2024. And we had a blast! First, we went for 6:30 and the parking was easy and well marked. Just a short line to redeem our online ticket for a bracket. And they had plenty of clean restrooms. The scariest part for me may have been the sky lift, as I’m terrified of heights and you’re going up in the dark. This was after a short wait to get started. No long lines for an hour. At least not early in the evening. At the top we start to walk down the trail. You see a bit of it as you ride up, but it took nothing away from the experience. They have the trail well marked with several places to get escorted off if you need. This was kid friendly in the sense that it wasn’t overly scary and no one touches you. Admittedly the attractions at the very end wasn’t something we cared for. Had some music and minimal food, and bit of entertainment. That said, the trail was the main attraction and it didn’t disappoint. Takes about 30 mins to walk done and we laughed the whole time! We plan to go back in the future. Thanks for the great time. (Note: we drove in from MA which was 2 hours driving and totally worth it!)

Located at Powder Ridge Mountain Park & Resort. Came here Saturday night. We bought tickets ahead of time. Our time was 8. We got to the front of the line in about 20 minutes. You take the ski lift to the top of the mountain and walk down. I had never been on a ski lift before and in the dark in the woods gave me a little anxiety ha ha. The trail itself is OK. There’s a lot of cool items set up and multiple emergency exits with the staff. There didn’t seem to be enough actors on the trail. For me, it was too many people. If the people in front of you start walking too slow, you catch up to them. The actors jump out at them, not at you. There is a lot of walking that is downhill so be prepared for that. At the end, there was a party atmosphere with music, drinks, food, fire pits, etc. I liked the concept overall, but not great execution. they definitely need more actors on the trail.

This gets better every year!! I cannot say enough about this action packed trail! It starts with chair lift in the dark followed by a walk down the mountain full of spooky and fun scares! Then there's the zombie lounge where we were able to hang out by the firepits and enjoy the DJ, actors, and a freak show! It's the only trail that we go to that we don't have find somewhere to hang out after. It's all included in this spectacularly entertaining evening of fun and frights! Oh, and the makeup and acting were amazing!! It was great to see the magic created by whomever does their makeup and not just a bunch of customers with masks. The actors all seemed really into character with how they moved and where they were hiding. I mean how many trails have actors crawling and hiding under things?!

This attraction was a let down from the very beginning. Save your money it’s not worth it. The first thing we noticed was showing up in the parking lot with no proper signage or anything of excitement at the entrance. We drove in wondering if we were in the right place. After parking we walked towards the lights and stumble around a large building untill seeing a person standing at a ticket booth. We went there and got our tickets and proceeded to the haunted area. Approaching the one and only chainsaw man, leading to ski lift. The ski lift was well long and dark and with no interaction for this ten min ride up the mountain you had no choice but to enjoy the view of the haunted trail you’d be walking down. This left us with little to no surprise. The trail itself was pretty lame. Actors had a couple decent hiding places for a few jump scares and that was the extent of what you get. A few broke character and many didn’t even really interact with us as we walked by. Best part of this attraction was the cozy fire pits at the end. Very nice area to hang out in but we choose not to cause ultimately we felt dissatisfied with the experience and wanted to just get home. This attraction and location has a lot of potential. Hope it can upgrade...

There's nothing remotely creepy, scary, or atmospheric here. There was no sense of how/why one scene/section ended and it was followed by X. Why did mutated corn come after werewolves? Large swaths of the trail were very bare or clearly need more scare actors involved to be able to scare people.

Plus, once atop the mountain via the chair lift, groups should be gathered then sent down in timed segments. As it was, I ran into the batch of people sent ahead of me, so I was never actually a target of the scares. All the jump outs and yelling and such was happening before me not to/at me.

The effects were minimalistic and range from not bad (the werewolf) to corny (the fire of the house very early on in the trail). The actors were all committed but had little to actual do.

This event is massive waste of time and money. Please do not attend and let it die. I had such a terrible time that I bought tickets to go to a different haunted attraction that night so I could have the experience I expected, a.k.a. so I could be you know, scared (it was Fright Haven for the record and...
