Rising Starts is the perfect combination of elements I was looking for in a dance studio for my daughter! RSD has teachers who specialize in specific types of dance, a wide variety of class options, and an exceptionally organized and kind director/owner. It's a place where my child feels free to express herself through dance while learning great technique from talented teachers. My child started classes at RSD when she was only 2.5 years old and she is now about to begin her 8th season with the studio! I love how the classes have grown with her- they consistently meet her at her current level of skill while inspiring and encouraging her further growth. I was so impressed by my child's dance education, that I jumped on the opportunity to take adult dance classes at RSD. I've taken both Adult Ballet and a Sampler Series. Taking dance classes at Rising Stars have given me an even greater appreciation of what my child is learning and how much dedication and hard work it takes to be a dancer. A truly special place for dancers. The owner, Mallory, is pretty amazing. She’s firm but kind when teaching classes. She is a master of technique, but the kids don’t feel pressured because the classes are so enjoyable for them. The other teachers are fantastic too as I think once they have gone through the program, they come back to teach at the school. The progress my daughter has made in a few years is unbelievable. There are almost no words to describe the joy I felt watching my daughter in the recital and watching her confidently bounding off the stage. We love Rising Stars and all of the staff there! We have been a part of the Rising Stars Family since 2011 and we are still there attending more classes than ever before! They offer many different styles of dance for all ages! (Both of our girls started dancing at Rising Stars at the age of 2). I myself took an amazing adult ballet class for three years there as well an evening adult class that offered 4 different styles of dance. Our girls have grown tremendously as dancers since they started thanks to all of the talented and dedicated teachers. We have made so many friends over the years of being there.
