Art Nails — Attraction in Middletown Township

I’ve been going there for years, and their service has really gone down the drain. When Lisa was the manager there, the salon ran perfectly and she did such an amazing job every time she did my nails. Never had a complaint. Now with Kathy running it, it’s horrible. First off, they take customers even if they have an appt coming in within a few minutes. So I’ve had to wait a while to get my nails done, even if I had an appt because she took another customer. Second, I’ve always used Kathy and it takes forever for her to do me nails. I’m talking 2 1/2 hours for a gel fill because she keeps stopping to answer the phone, or to go take care of something else. She never even apologizes. It’s very frustrating when she keeps stopping every 5 minutes to take a call. She even makes calls and takes calls on her personal phone. HIRE A RECEPTIONIST!!!!!! Also the place isn’t the cleanest. I got an fungal infection in my toe nail (dr confirmed) from my pedicure and ended up with my entire nail falling off!!!! They have very cheap polishes and the nails don’t stay on all that well. I had a guy start me once, and when he went to remove the tip I had on, he actually ended up ripping my real nail and I started bleeding. I switched to Rose Nails in the same shopping center. the first time I went to this place is also the last. Me and my friend wanted to have a nice day getting our nails done and this place ruined it. First off , they told us to come back at 1:45 just to sit there for another half hour waiting! Secondly , the nail bottles they used were disgusting .Then once the lady was filing down my acrylics it hurt , when I told her that it hurt she did it even harder . After a hour and a half of sitting there getting my nails done I was so relieved just to realized that the white color I picked out was now a pastel pink! Two of my acrylics are sticking out and not looking normal. Just to add in another great thing , I couldn’t do anything the day I got them they hurt so bad! I know that acrylics are supposed to be sore but not in so much pain it makes you want to go back there and get your money back! Then my friend when she has her manicure done she realized that her nails had bubbles in them! The lady even looked at it and just decided to paint right over it instead of doing something! I recently took my daughter and her best friend to Art nails. It was a horrible decision. We never should have went there. I bought both of them a set of acrylic nails. They are already falling of. Apparently he kept farting and being unlike a gentleman.He also took over 2 hours to complete one set of nails. and when he blew on them to dry he spit all over her hands. Also, he missed the finishing top coat and there nails are chipping. I was so furious about this because my daughter and her best friend wanted to heart gems to match on the ring finger just one they tried charging them 15 dollars each for a gem. I have been going there for years and this is the second time i got a messy job done and theses nails were for a wedding. They have no professional nail polishes all cheap ones.
