The place is almost invisible to anyone who doesn't have a reason to be there (a class...an exhibit). Not sure what part it plays in the communities nearby. I live nearby and only knew of it because one of my teens wanted to find a class locally and it popped up on the internet. I mean, why do local residents need to do a Google search to know about this place? Now that we're part of it, it's not for everyone. Unless you are in the right clique, your art won't be displayed...some teachers won't bother with you...there will be almost no opportunities to get involved (no invites of course).
