Middletown Art Center — Attraction in Middletown

The place is almost invisible to anyone who doesn't have a reason to be there (a class...an exhibit). Not sure what part it plays in the communities nearby. I live nearby and only knew of it because one of my teens wanted to find a class locally and it popped up on the internet. I mean, why do local residents need to do a Google search to know about this place? Now that we're part of it, it's not for everyone. Unless you are in the right clique, your art won't be displayed...some teachers won't bother with you...there will be almost no opportunities to get involved (no invites of course). It seems like there should be a Board of Directors to run this...

Quaint marketplace. Only 1 veggie vendor though. I dont know if it varies from.week to week. I bought some beautiful okra & squash along with a juicy looking large red tomatoe.

There are a few jewelry vendors. Their work is original and lovely. There is a tie-dye vendor and you can make your own right there. A herb and essential oil vendor hints at herbal cures of many varieties.
