I must have come in on an off day.. I’ve been told to come here and that I wouldn’t be disappointed. I walked in and stood waiting for 10 minutes alone in an empty building hearing the sounds of a dishwasher in the back I called out a few times and eventually a quiet young man came out and stared at me. No greeting just blank face stared at me. I ordered my food, off a sharpied out menu, got a receipt and went outside. It seems like they used to have more items but have since taken them off the menu. It has a cute outside aesthetic that was a bit confusing. There’s games scattered about in a random seeming order, a few covered tables, a few kids tables, and in the back a place for the people that want to be less than two feet away from multiple poisonous bug traps. My kids took a few bites and said they didn’t like the food. They got the only option for kids chopped meat over macaroni and cheese, one chicken and one brisket. (Update: tried to feed it to the dog when we got home she wouldn’t touch it) I ate half of my tri tip sandwich, it was cartilage and fat with a side of meat in between two pieces of bread in a puddle of slaw. The slaw was tasty, just very wet. I also got the side of beans, it has a bunch of diff beans in it and some pork; the beans tasted good. Update: it’s been a few hours since we’ve eaten and we are all sick to our stomach. Not sure if it’s the food or not since this is the only change in our diet.

So I finally got around to checking out Barbecue by Biasotti. I definitely will give them the nod best bbq in Lake County. My wife had the pulled pork nachos and I had there 2 meat combo blate.. I had the tri tip and the chopped brisket. My sides where home-made Mac n cheese and cole slaw. The food was very good definitely smokey and flavorful with there sauce. The only thing I would have wanted more of is some of their house made bbq sauce. Prices were fair for what you got. The dine in option is kind of small for inside but there is more seating outside. I definitely will be back. I hope to come in sometime when they have their specials though. 2/4/24 update Just went over there to try their new barbecue brisket pastrami Sandwich. So first just like the last time I wish? I had more barbecues sauce on it since it's so good. The pastrami reminded me more of a corn beef but it was still very good just without the brine and Tang. Very juicy in paired well with the homemade Cole slaw. For my side I had their homemade Mac and cheese which last time I reviewed was excellent and still is. You can tell it's made from scratch, and it has a nice crust on it as well. This was a special and not on the usual menu, but if you get a chance to order it I do highly recommend it

I always take the Dry Creek Cutoff when I go up to the cabin on Cobb Mountain, but today I headed straight into Middletown, because of these wonderful BBQ aromas...I just had to find out where it was coming from! I pulled over and asked some old geezers that were arguing about who was the better president...Truman or Eisenhower, so I interrupted and asked where the BBQ joint was, and they all pointed to Barbecue by Biasotti...Right there they said! Well, I thanked them and told them that Truman was the better president, and Eisenhower rode on the coat tails of Generals Marshall and Patton, and Man-O-Man did that start an argument! I got a sampler of ribs, and all I can say is WOW! They were Amazing! ☆☆☆☆☆
