Spallone & Son — Attraction in Milford

Second review after giving a 5 star the first time.

I went back to the adjoining store downstairs with my new girlfriend. We are a mixed-race couple. Rose waited for my girlfriend to use the dressing room and then asked me where we met. I didn't want to say because my new girlfriend and I weren't really a "couple" yet and hadn't discussed if we wanted to talk like a couple, so I just smiled and said "I'm just lucky I guess"

Rose asked again, I said "it was fate" that brought us together. Rose asked again, I changed the subject. Rose asked again... Rose asked again... Rose asked again...

Finally I told her but didn't give much detail. Rose wanted more details. And she wouldn't let it go. Every time my girlfriend was in the dressing room, Rose was on me for information.

So I don't know if it's because we were a mixed race couple or if Rose is just incredibly nosy. But I don't want to go back there, not the men's store upstairs or the ladies store downstairs. Sorry, it's a nice store but the overly inquisitive clerk kind of...

My husband needed pants for a wedding next weekend. Mind you, it’s Christmas Eve-Eve. He not only found a pair of pants but Joe tailored them in the next hour and we were able to pick them up that afternoon. Joe knows how to run a business. He introduced himself to me and shook my hand when we went to pick up the pants. In a world where we are so disconnected, this man is truly making the effort. Thank you Joe! I went here on a recommendation from a friend. I was so disappointed with the big box stores, but was concerned about price from a small local store. Wow, was I wrong. I met Rose and Joe, and they were so helpful. I have recently lost a lot of weight, so I had no idea what size to wear or what would look good on me. Well, they were great.
