Johnny Jacks always a great place. Small Town diner that knows you by name.

My full review: Johnny Jacks Restaurant in Milford is a charming family-owned establishment that truly captures the essence of a home-cooked breakfast. If you're longing for the nostalgic flavors of a breakfast that reminds you of your childhood, this is the place to be.

From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality from the owners themselves. The personal touch and the effort they put into making every guest feel welcome is truly commendable. It's like walking into a neighbor's house for breakfast - the hometown appeal is palpable.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the eggs benedict. If you're a fan of this classic breakfast dish, Johnny Jacks is where you'll find perfection on a plate. The eggs are poached to perfection, the hollandaise sauce is velvety and tangy, and the English muffin is toasted just right. Each bite is a heavenly symphony of flavors that will make your taste buds dance with delight.

But it's not just the eggs benedict that shines at Johnny Jacks. The entire menu is filled with delicious breakfast offerings that will leave you spoilt for choice. From fluffy pancakes to hearty omelettes, everything is prepared with love and attention to detail.

In conclusion, Johnny Jacks Restaurant in Milford is a true gem. With its home-cooked breakfast fare, welcoming atmosphere, and outstanding eggs benedict, it's a place that will make you feel like family. If you're in the mood for a breakfast that's reminiscent of "mommy used to make," this is the...

Classic Greasy Spoon Experience, CASH ONLY!

This place serves up your typical diner fare - nothing fancy, but it hits the spot if you're craving some comfort food. Think hearty portions of pancakes, eggs any style, and crispy hash browns. The coffee's always hot and plentiful, even if it's not exactly gourmet.

Our server was friendly and attentive, Had to ask for coffee refills. The atmosphere is small-town diner in a huge space: worn rugs throughout and vinyl booths.

A word to the wise: bring cash! They don't accept cards, but there's an ATM on-site if you forget (prepare for those fees, though 😝). It's convenient, but feels a bit outdated in this day and age.

While the food is filling in that greasy spoon way, it's not exactly destination dining. If you're in the neighborhood and need a quick breakfast fix, it'll do the trick. But I wouldn't recommend making a special trip across town just for this place.

In summary: Decent diner food, cash-only quirk, and friendly service. It's fine for a local breakfast spot, but don't expect any culinary...

Would leave a zero star review if possible. Was there just a couple weeks ago and had the worse service and food I think I’ve ever had at a restaurant. After we were seated a waitress didn’t take mine and my girlfriends drink order for 35 minutes. It took 20 minutes to get coffee and an ice water. Another 30 minutes until she came over and ordered food. Another 40 minutes for them to make the food, French toast, poached eggs, and pancakes, bacon, and an omelette. Eggs were so over cooked they were almost solid. The omelette had water run out of it when my girlfriend cut a piece out of it. It took over 45 minutes before they waitress came and checked on us. By this point we just wanted the bill to pay and leave. We told her about the omelette and she said word for word “well if I had known I would have offered to make something else”. Well you would have known if you checked on us during our almost 3 hours we were there. I will not recommend this place to anyone. Recommend...

We've lived in Milford for 19 years, but hadn't gone to Johnny Jacks for breakfast! We've been missing out! Service was great, the Eggs Benedict was Delicious! I especially liked the option to have Eggs Benedict with something other than ham. I had a sausage patty, and my wife had spinach and tomato. The diner atmosphere is delightfully old school. Their default for home fries is rather soft, so if you like yours crispy (like I do), be sure to tell your server. We will have to go back often to make up for missing out all these years!

Haven't been here in years. I ordered the Italian omelet and it was fantastic. The omelet was great and the home fries were perfect. Service was very good, especially considering she was all alone in the front. It's a Wednesday, so it wasn't overly busy but it's a big place, and alot of ground to cover. Will definitely go back. The omelet, coffee and a large glass of milk was $17.00. Not bad considering the times, and the omelet was full of meat. Absolutely worth it.

We were there for Sunday brunch. It’s run by few sweet old ladies. Friendly staff. It felt like there were regular folks and staff also knew them well. We had the today’s special, Jonny Jacks and a waffle. The food was great. I really loved the home fries. One of the best tasting home fries in a long time. The garlic toast was also great. The service is bit slow. But that was okay for us. The parking is available on the nearby public parking lots.
