I had taken a day rode trip and stumbled onto Muir Beach. Once I parked my car, I had no idea of what I was about to experience, but I knew I just wanted to hike along the ocean. I found a trail that lead up the mountain and it provided me with 380 degree breath taking views. I got so caught up taking photos that before I knew it, the sun was setting real fast. As I approached the parking lot, it was dark and almost everyone had left. I felt relieved and couldn't wait to get in my car to head on home. But as I approached my car and pressed the remote to unlock it, I realized my situation was not good. The remote would not unlock the car, I was in an area where I had never been, everyone was gone (except a ranger), my phone and money was inside the car, and no key to unlock the door., and even if I did get into the car, how could I start the car since the remote is dead and the car is a push button. The ranger stayed with me and worked with his dispatch to help me. It took us awhile, but with his knowledge and my knowledge, WE figured it out! I give this place 5 stars for its beauty and having a ranger who not only cares for the beach but has a kind heart (he could had just been rude because it was after park hours) and he was persistent to help me get into my car and figure out how to start the car with the remote being dead and the starter is a...
