I have had a defective bracelet for months. I have several other Cartier pieces and my jewelry is very well cared for. The answer they gave me is that the piece is old (the defect is clearly factory-made and I have the report they gave me). However, their solution is for me to pay $2,000 to repair a clasp, meaning that I have a piece that in total is not worth the original value with the repair. They are very polite when it comes to selling, but when it comes to helping the customer solve a problem, they are terrible. A fifth-rate jewelry store would provide better service. What you are doing is a robbery.

Who doesn't love Cartier right. The only reason not to get a 5 star is because I had to wait about 25 minutes to get in the store on a Monday afternoon. I didn't have an appointment so he made me wait 25 minutes outside the store... to see a sales representative. But the store was empty. I'm not really into these fancy places but I just thought it was strange. I had lots of cash in hand to spend and I could've easily taken that money next door. But overall the place is beautiful. Staff is great. But I guess that's how they operate. Keep it exclusive. You can't just walk in and buy.

My opinion of Cartier at Short Hills has completely changed after my most recent visit. I was warmly assisted by an associate named Mona Atwa, and I truly believe she has been the kindest and most patient person I’ve encountered at this location. I visited several times before deciding on the piece I wanted, and she never rushed me or made me feel uncomfortable — unlike some of the other associates who tend to give you strange looks when you start asking questions or taking your time to browse. Thanks to Mona, this experience was exceptional.

I rarely ever review places however this is by far the worst experience I have ever had with Cartier. Usually we shop at the location on 5th Avenue however since this location is closer we decided to purchase the gift we needed from this location. Upon calling to inquire about the item I was looking to purchase I was told there were no appointments left however if I would like I could purchase my item over the phone and pick it up without an appointment whenever I chose to. I immediately agreed to this as it would be easier for us anyway. I was told multiple times to wait to receive a call back from the sales associate however those calls never came. In order to contact the store at all I had to call multiple times to get someone on the phone. There were so many issues in the ordering process alone but eventually I had my receipt and sent my father to pick up the purchased item today. Upon arriving to the store they were met by an unpleasant man who refused to give them the item that was already purchased because they didn’t have an appointment. I was was not there for the pickup however since I was the one that ordered the item I immediately called the store (3 times) before a very unpleasant sales associate named Danielle picked up the phone. At this point I was completely irate as the associates in this store clearly don’t know the basics of customer service and honoring what a customer had been told. She lied to me about my father trying to pick up the item without knowing I was completely aware they were still at the boutique and then told me she would go get them from the front. They watched her pace around the store with the phone I was on hold on in her hand however she never approached them. They stood there as other customers without appointments were let into the store however they were not. I cannot tell you why they were eventually let into the store to pick up the pre paid item but they were. This is completely unacceptable behavior and a horrible representation of Cartier as a whole. I have already elevated the situation to corporate who were horrified by how we were treated at this location. If you would like to be treated poorly by unprofessional associates with zero respect for the customer then shop at this location, if not there are plenty other Cartier boutiques in the tri state area that would be glad...

Update: We went to this location and the service was really good! They have redeemed my last times bad experience.

Unfortunately The costumer service at this store is very inconsistent and does not hold up to the standard that Cartier has at all. Doesn't really seem they value their costumers that much, or want business. For such a high end brand there should be training on etiquette and costumer service at this location. After reading other people's reviews I realize that this is a huge issue with this location and in my opinion Cartier should take notice of it asap, because they are loosing so many customers, some might overlook the poor treatment and go to another location and some leave the brand all together, and honestly that is sad shouldn't be! If brands like Amazon and Trader's Joe can have good costumer service Cartier can too in my opinion!

I had not a very pleasant or professional encounter with two representative's over the phone this past Friday while looking for a specific piece. One completely brushed me off or seemed to care at all. I called again the other seemed not too thrilled to help me, but took my information and at least called back, but said that they didn't have the piece in the store and they couldn't do anything about it at all, that I just had to wait after the holidays possibly several months and then check when it will be in stock, and they had no idea when it will come. I was like ok that doesn't sound right but hey maybe they have new rules.

Yesterday called another location in NYC the representative informed me that the information I was given to me at this location was not true and she was surprised why they would say that. She went above and beyond to help me, was very nice and professional and seemed like she cared about my need and her job. She informed me that the piece was not currently available at their store either but she can order it for me right away without any problem and when I come for my appointment in couple of weeks it will be available for me to try on and purchase without any issue at all. Now this is the kind of costumer service should be expected...

I went to this store and was honestly given some of the worst customer service I have ever received. First, I tried to book an appointment online and the online service said to go to the store and that the online appointments were down. I drove an hour and a half to be told I would be put on a waiting list even though I could see literally nobody in the store. Not even 30 seconds later they call me to come back to the store.... That they had a "slot open up" Then when I was trying on the ring for my wedding the employee was tapping on the table every time I put the ring on clearly annoyed thinking I wouldn't buy anything. I wasn't sure if I wanted the ring as a middle finger ring or my wedding band. Once I had decided on a ring all of a sudden everyone was nice to me when before they were just staring at me. It was so crystal clear they thought because of my appearance (I was wearing a hoodie and leggings) that I was there to waste their time. Then after I get home with my ring - I open it up out of the packaging to show my fiance and they sent me home with THE WRONG SIZE. I call Cartier and they say I can only exchange in store. So another three hours of driving and when I get there they act surprised I was there...Tell me to wait another 15 minutes and then he didn't understand why I was there. Tried to hand me an even BIGGER ring. And then once I finally tried on the correct size (that I told him I needed in the first place) he started the exchange. When the manager came over to assist him, he mixed everything up again and tried to give him the bigger ring, that I came in with, AGAIN. I had to awkwardly speak up and say that was the wrong size and that I had wanted the other ring on the tray. I shop in luxury stores all the time and have NEVER been treated like this. Not once was I given an apology in the store by the employee and he acted annoyed both the first time and the...
