USA Baseball Stadium — Attraction in Millington

Well, I get to stadium with a small cooler for the team (12) boys. As I approach the gate; mind you seeing people walking pass with coolers 2X larger than mine leaving and arriving. I get to gate I get immediately stopped and told no coolers. I begin to explain and show all the coolers before me and the reply was, “ they been here all day and they are coaches wives.” I said, oh so it’s an id to prove you are a coaches wife? Cause the lady that just walked in is not cause my son plays school ball with him. He then said, “ I am just doing my job.” I stated yes with me you are and I know why you are doing it so well!. As I walk back to my truck to return cooler and to field 7 I see coolers!! Wait, the driver of cart said they allow coolers I don’t know why they told you that! Also, the time is 5pm with 95 degree weather. So imagine being there with no cooler!

2023 the facility and game officials were really good and the facility was nice. As of 6/29/24, the facility is not well taken care of or well managed. The baseball officials are the worst we have seen and very obviously favor a local program. We stopped playing USSSA in central Arkansas because of very similar stuff. We have been traveling 4 hrs to Millington for quality competition, facilities, and umpires. Perfect Game has very obviously neglected this facility and its management. To pay 3 times the entry fee for perfect game to neglect quality baseball is absurd. We won’t be back. To all those who question this review, we won the game. UPDATE 4/2023: so on the weekends they charge $10 a person which is extremely high considering the multiple other baseball fields which charge $5 to watch games. Field 6 is the last field on the right ALL THE WAY BACK. They have 3 concession stands that are WAY OVER PRICED. BEERS ARE $8 EACH. I don’t drink but $8? Everything else was WAY OVER PRICED AS WELL.
