The atmosphere feels very outdated, mismatched and sort of “damp,” so if aesthetics matter to you, probably not your vibe. The table didn’t feel clean and some of silverware definitely wasn’t. The service was friendly but a bit slow. We waited for about 10 minutes after eating for our check before heading to the desk without it. As for the food, the chips and salsa was standard, along with the red rice and beans. I ordered fajitas (because they’re pretty much a universal option at most Mexican restaurants and made to order) and they were undercooked, giving the dish a watery taste and making me wonder if my chicken and shrimp spent long enough on the grill. The tortillas were the standard prepackaged flour ones so no surprise there. The quesadilla that I ordered for my daughter was quite good though, hot, perfectly grilled and generously stuffed. All in all, it wasn’t terrible but I won’t be returning. There are others in the area that do things more effectively and...
Read moreThis was very bad Mexican food. And the service was not very good, either. They were not very nice when we arrived or when being seated, l just saw the man’s back the whole time. The menu listed several imported beers, the same man just said “Corona only”. Not a lengthy explanation. The guacamole was so salty, I couldn’t eat it. My husband’s food arrived before mine. I believe they forgot to prepare my meal. When they got it to me, the plate was hot but the food was cold. The cheese inside the enchilada was not even melted. The Chalupa was a total disappointment. It was buried under a couple of cups of cold, watery, “refried” beans and the tostada was soggy. We had to ask for silverware, napkins, and twice for some water. They didn’t seem interested in coming to our table. The people sitting across from us had to ask for silverware after they got their food. I will not be going back. We will try some other places...
Read moreThis place has ok food but they charge you for everything additional.. God forbid you sub chicken and steak with mushroom and spinach and when u mention to the server you dont eat meat they roll their eyes and laugh then charge you 3$ more to sub .I've been a return custimer here for years but im noticing now they nickle and dime u to death .No way 3 enchiladas rice and a Beer should cost 20 damn dollars . Every other place i go that serves a similar combination does not even consider charging me to sub veggies for meat .I guess if money is no issue and u can just spend whatever whenever its ok but if you're looking for a decent place to grab a bite and not have a lot to spend this place is not for you.. Or me for that matter .This is my only review on this place and after 5 years of returning here will be my last visit .Congratulations guys. Hope the extra charges for short term gain are worth losing long...
