Save A Lot — Local services in Millington

This store is amazing! I've shopped at Kroger, for years, but it's become so expensive. I buy the same cart of groceries every 2 weeks and it's always $450+, for one cart of groceries, for me and my 2 dogs. That's half of my SS payment, for 2 weeks of food. My friend told me about Save A Lot. Yesterday, I had 24 items on my list, but I figured I would only find a few items on my list and the rest I would have to get at Kroger. I found everything on my list, except a couple of items and it was only $224. I was shocked! It was half the price for the same cart of groceries that costs $450, at Kroger. This place is a little diamond in the rough. We pass this place often as we drive through 51 on the way deeper into Millington and decided to just stop here for grins. This smaller grocery store is VERY CLEAN and very well stocked. The options may be more limited due to its smaller footprint, but they do have all the basics with some additional product lines too. The people are friendly and service seems quite good. We actually plan to stop here into the future for occasional quick stops for grocery items and drinks. I am from the east coast, I just moved to Millington in February 2022. This has been my go to since moving here. The place is clean the employees are very nice and friendly. My only down fall is the Hispanic section only consist of 3 cans of goya beans located at the end with the cleaning products. I get it there are not many Hispanics in Millington but I like to see more products (we usually buy in bulk) I rather give my money to this store in my community then having to drive 45 min deep into Memphis to buy goya products
