Lake Milton State Park — Attraction in Milton Township

I have yet to find an Ohio State Park that I have something bad to say about! We visited this park while in the area. It was in the early spring, so the beach area was deserted. But, it gave us a chance to walk along the trails and for my son to play Pokemon Go. There is a very nice playground and shaded picnic area that was being used by several families. The beach was nice to walk along because the lake was at its very low winter level. On the map it looked like we were walking in water! The picnic area was very well maintained. There is a short storybook trail and a very nice amphitheater. Probably one of the nicest amphitheaters I have seen in a park in awhile. There are not many trails in this side of the lake. But it does continue on towards the dam. There were plenty of folks fishing. This park is about 30 minutes from my house, so we will be back Especially to get my passport...

We live here so of coarse we love it here. However, I will say looking at it as a visitor, they have wonderful walking trails, always maintained. There is the main beach in Craig Beach which is just a great place to swim, there are bathrooms and a beach store. I like the park isn't overrun with ducks and geese, even though we do have them they are not like Mosquito where they ruined the beach area. The opposite side of the lake also has a very nice park with bathrooms and picnic enclosures with electric and a lighthouse!!!! If I didn't live here already I would certainly want to. Also need to add the park officers are amazing and kind people. They watch over all the citizens rather regulars or visitors. Good job to...

Always a great family trip. The swimming area beach is large for a park, the lake is clearly marked for swimming boats respect the boundaries and theres clean sand at your feet no algae! Its starts shallow and slowly increases to maybe 6 ft... bring a grill, use theirs, picnic tables are numerous and you can lounge on your tubes rafts or walk down and do a little fishing. Theres a little snack shop and restrooms... in the shallows away from the swimming area there are always big fish right at the edge my kids like throwing the bread or whatever, lol they eat anything almost. It's on of the more comfortable nicer parks. Take a trip out there, you won't be...
