Steven Morgan Skate Park — Attraction in Milton

This place is amazing. Kids today don't realize how lucky they have it. When I was growing up we were spreading "skateboarding is not a crime" stickers because we would get harrased for skateboarding. Alot has changed and the city of Milton put this Full size skate park right in the center of Milton. I believe this skatepark has saved countless young kids from falling victim to the criminal lifestyle simply because they have a nice place to skate and hang out with friends instead of getting in trouble. Other city's should follow Milton's example. Be careful while skating here don't advance too fast. My son thought he was ready to drop in at the deep end of the bowl that has 2 ft of vert. Needless to say he wasn't ready and broke his wrist and now has a plate with 7 screws in his arm. The bad thing is I couldn't stop him from skating while it was healing he was up there the next day. He hasn't tried "The 10" since and if he is smart it will be awhile before...

I was only there to beep around with my metal detector, not to ride a skateboard...I'd probably break important bones on one of those things. Nice lighted park with ramps, etc. I don't skate so I'm not sure the names of the different things they have available but it looks like it was made well with stuff young people enjoy. It is much better than them trying to make something at home and getting hurt or riding where they aren't supposed to and get in trouble.
