We have been to many casino's all over the place and this was by far the worst experience we have ever had, and I know many are thinking that I probably complain a lot But I have never written a review before. We went on Saturday for the show, Drifters and the Coasters, which was a amazing show, we had a great time. Our room was very clean, smelled great and was comfortable, we loved it and the staff in the motel were all amazing and friendly. We gambled quite a bit within the two night stay, didn't win anything but that is what gambling is, no worries there. We had the breakfast buffet on Sunday morning and the only thing that was warm and good was the baked fish (amazing) everything else was cold or out. However the waitress and the bell hop were very good. Terrible brunch! Saturday night we listened to the band in the bar area and went to the snack bar to get something before turning in, we waited 45 minutes for a grilled cheese sandwich, which by the way once we received it was very good! Sunday we played, swam and enjoyed the hot tub and sauna and that area is a very nice clean area, we enjoyed it very much. Finished our night and again went to the snack bar (both nights at the snack bar was after midnight shift working) asked the cashier what was on the supreme pizza and he stared at his feet and said he didn't have a cook, so I asked "so we can't get anything cooked ?" he said no he was alone and the cook called in. We asked for his manager whom came over and I explained the situation and the manager starred at his feet and told me the cook called in and walked away. A real manager would have asked us to go to the snack bar and see why the cashier couldn't cook something or he himself could have found a way to get us something to eat, but he chose to leave us hanging) A little while later we walked by the snack bar and the manager was back cooking with the cashier, at this point we didn't want to eat there because we were afraid of what they might do to our food. We were told the gift shop was open all night so we headed there to get some snacks as we were very hungry at this point and it was closed. Walking back to our room in disbelief we came to the front desk of the hotel and NADINE (Bless her heart) was working the desk and asked how we were, we explained the situation and she offered to go to the employees breakroom and get us a couple of sandwiches out of the vending machine, we accepted gladly. SHE should be the manager there she was so helpful and apologetic for the rudeness of the cashier and manager. We unfortunately will never return to this establishment and I hope this review will save others the worst casino experience and a lot of money. Terrible, terrible place to get away to and want to enjoy yourself. There are so many casino's in the area, please don't waste your time at this one. Thank you Nadie and the 2 bartenders for making it a semi enjoyable experience and stepping up to take care of the guests, they are the only one's who gave a dam about us or the...
Read moreDO NOT STAY HERE!! Worst hotel experience I've ever had. Nobody at the front desk knew how to work there. It was like it was everybody's first day. Staff was friendly but didn't know how to do there job. I would of appreciated to be told the pool was closed when I made the reservation. First night was good so we decided to stay one more night. Big mistake! We had to move rooms which wasn't a big deal but in our second room is when we had an issue. We had been gambling throughout the night and listening to the band so we didn't get up to our room till midnight. Our key card didn't work. Went to the front desk and they gave us new ones. Those didn't work. We waited for maintenance guy to come. He couldn't figure out how to open it. So he called 2 more maintenance guys. They ended up drilling into the door handle to pick the lock. He then told us if we wanted to leave the room we should flip the other lock on the inside to keep the door propped open. He said our stuff would be safe they have cameras!! We didn't get into room until 1:45 or so. The next morning when we proceed to check out we find out they charged the two rooms already to our card when we were specifically told we could pay with cash before we check out. We found that out after we paid for one of the nights with cash already because they said they were too busy to figure it out and they didn't know what they were doing. So we were charged 3 times for staying 2 nights! We waited till the front desk wasn't so busy to try figuring out what was going on. They really couldn't explain the reasoning behind the charges. All they kept telling us was that we would see the money back in our account in 7 to 10 business days. We recieved no apologies, no compensation for our troubles. We won't know for a week if our money will be put back in our account. We live 3 hours away so if it doesn't come back to us we will be trying to figure this out over the phone. Sorry for the rant but I've never seen an operation so disorganized. On the plus side food was fabulous from all the venues. I might go back but not to stay...
Read moreCheck in guy absolutely unprofessional and rude. Who trains them to tell a person if you don't like something you can go somewhere else, especially when this all was planed out many weeks in advance. Of course the chikuzi was out of order, it is a casino so I left down some this time. The breakfast is not at all worth the price, luck warm, precooked hashbrowns so that never worth eating. Server was good, Fireside Resturant upper level is was amazing, but when you pay for a great meal and it was, so bravo to the chefs as good as last time, but as I said you can't serve a quality fresh garden salad and use cheap pre mix Ranch dressing, it's got to be home made with mayo and buttermilk, all your dressing need to be homemade if they are not. Hear kitchen radio a little, music in dinning needs to be popped in, the staff here in Resturant is and has always been friendly. Need a actual wine list, and brands, you have a amazing wine appearance as you enter, all bottles dated back to 2014, but their not for sale, not one bottle of marlo. Your Brussel sprouts perfectly cooked but no real special seasoning, all that work you did and this could of been knocked out of the house. This place should be making a killing and you decide to run it at a loss. 2 dinning side workers and 2 great cooks left straned there, I am not sure what or who might do the prep, but getting in , getting r eady and open close, dishes, 20 staff hours minimal. Now lets factor electric, gas, heating or cooling and a 10% replacement factor and tear for an approximate18,000 sq ft space. 9 total customers total revenue that Saturday night of $420. We both know this would of been gone long ago if it was not for the casino. Now spend the money to hire someone eho knows what they are doing. Your nightly sales should be $3000 to $5000 depending on the months, this could be even way higher, you have no marketing, no locals know really. No little incentives, Get the right one spend a tear and you could be making a killing out of this place and the...
