If you want to experience the ultimate miniature golf adventure at Pirate's Cove. Then don't wait any longer! You should come to this 18th-century pirate world filled with buccaneers, caves, sunken ships, waterfalls, and pirate dungeons, offering a thrilling experience for the whole family. Totally kid friendly and also fun for the adults! My niece and nephew absolutely loved this place. We try to do this as a regular thing each year we come to this place. You'll have to navigate through mountain caves, footbridges, pirate ships, and waterfalls while avoiding waking the napping pirates overhead in their hammocks (jokes of course, all just animated stuff) along with fun pirate music. In my opinion, pirate's Cove brings the legends of infamous pirates to life in a theme park-like setting with two beautifully designed 18-hole courses suitable for both adults and kids, making it the perfect family activity. I like the options of being able to choose from the Captain's Course, Blackbeard's Challenge, or opt for the 36-hole adventure. All different courses. So you get different holes to to try to shoot in and different experiences. I'm not sure if they still do those options. But last year they still offered those. They also allow you to chose whatever golf ball color you want, along with a golf stick. They did have some cute merchandise for sale at the beginning of course. I'm sure you can go back inside and get shirts if you're interested and don't want to carry the merch with you the entire golf course. They also allow you to keep track of how many holes in one you get. Then you get to spin the wheel at the end for a fun prize, but the number you land on has to have a hole in one. Otherwise you don't get anything. But it's still fun either way! However I will add prices varying for adults and children. So be prepared for that! Pirate's Cove is an absolute must! Especially if you love cheesiness and fun for the whole family! Get ready to discover the fun and excitement awaiting you at Pirate's Cove!! Just be prepared if you go on the weekend for long wait times, both to get inside and then the actual golf course. But it's worth it for the fun...
Read moreWe went to Pirates Cove for a round of mini golf and 1 go cart ride. The mini golf was great! The holes were challenging but not not too difficult. The pirate theme and water everywhere was fun and well done. It was a fun experience. The negatives were that the bathrooms were out of toilet paper and one of the toilets was clogged, and the beverage machines only accept cash, no card. The go carts were not a great experience. The ride was way too short for the price you pay. The staff were crabby and unwelcoming. I think we only went around 5 times and half of the laps were at half throttle because the staff were yelling at people for being too rough and turned down the speed. Even though it seemed to us people were being pretty reasonable. We would have paid for a couple more rounds, but it was not worth our money to do so. If we go back, we will only golf and take our business elsewhere...
Read moreAlways fun! My husband and I have been here twice now. The 2 courses are wonderful and have facts about Black Beard on each hole as you twist and turn through the courses. There are 2 types of courses. One is a little more challenging. We usually pay to play all 36 holes through both courses. The theme is well played out through the entire area with waterfalls and treasure locked away and even a pirate ship on hole 8 of the less challenging course. You may lose your ball in the water but that is part of the fun! There's even a go cart track! Give it a shot!...
