Maysa Arena — Attraction in Minot

Was there an hour before our game. Enjoyed watching the game playing beforehand. Took way to long for an ambulance to arrive for a young man that got hurt. A young player took a hard hit, and when he tried to get up, just about standing he collapsed immediately. Sunday before 11am. Been at it long enough to know this about sports, I just feel like this is the only place I ever been that it take as long as it did. We went to the Team USA/Canada sled hockey Border Battle and the Prairie Grit sled hockey tournaments. My dad and I spent days in the arena watching teams practice. We were always comfortable- and when the snack bars opened, we were more comfortable. The mini donuts were great. The hamburgers were a pass. Overall, we had a great time watching hockey on all three sheets of ice. Been to many games here for both Minotauros and Minot State. Minitauros games definitely have a more electric atmosphere, but Minot state games are less crowded and you can sit wherever you want. There is more variety of food at Minotauros games, but if you love hockey like me, Minot state is more skillful hockey. Tickets are only $8 for either team.
