Rofl. I remember when this used to be just a park. So i will say that they are anal about things. Even if its a korean memorial park they most def dont want you playing your asian games here. We have a game that requires a tennis court and no one else was in it so we tried to play our game. It requires the tennis net a volley ball and feet. We took the small court so we wouldnt be a bother to tennis players and left the big court for them...as soon as we were a few minutes in the game... Some tennis players snitched on us to the ranger and we had to cease or be kicked out. Rude. They didnt ask...went right to the authorities. Snitches get stitches. But you know. Its whatever. Not like they had the other court the one with like 5 tennis areas or nothing. Nah they wanted the one we were playing on.
The ranger then explained we werent allowed to play anythjng BUT tennis on there. We werent hurting anyone. I mean people play different things everywhere. You can play tag on the playground. You can play dodgeball on the soccer field. You can play badminton on the volleyball court. Why arent we allowed our game?
Till now im STILL bitter about this. Its sad that we did nothing wrong and we still got yellow carded.
= A= since then we kinda never used the park again. And dont think we ever...

Read moreWe love Veterans park! The walking trails are perfect for a stoll with your pup, and have short enough options for the toddler who needs to run. My only complaint, and the reason we just recently started visiting again, is that the playground set up isn't great for mixed ages. The larger playground really isn't safe (in my opinion) for kids under 5, maybe older, and the smaller playground is not much fun for kids over 3ish. So you have a gap of time that it isn't the best, and if you have older and younger children, this complicates things!
Otherwise, soccer fields, tennis courts, large bathrooms, a Little Free Library, plenty of parking, a creek and...
