Miramar Regional Park Amphitheater — Attraction in Miramar

Unfortunately, this past weekend’s R&B Groove was a horrible experience. The artists all put on an amazing show, but the experience at the Miramar Regional Park was ridiculous. The parking was completely unorganized with NO SIGNS to correct entry. Then, waited in the rain for shuttles just to get the gate & were told we had to walk up because they were now allowing cars to park inside of the venue. Completely inconvenient AF after we got soaked. My group of girlfriends & I decided to use the restrooms before it got too crowded & portable restrooms were filthy with NO toilet paper or paper towels. Mind you, we were early & there was nothing in the restrooms for women to use. We got seated & attempted to get food. The City of Miramar’s AMP Concessions were the worst experience I have ever encountered at a concert event. The most annoying part was the fact that there were NO other vendors or food options available. We waited in line for an hour and a half, missed half of Next’s act, Monica’s entire act & the first half of Jagged Edge waiting for minimal food just to get to the counter & be told the fryer was out & there was NO hot food available only watered down conch salad, hot sodas & $2 M&M’s. Never again! Highly disappointed & expected so much more. The 2016Funkfest was handled much better, well organized & offered an amazing array of cuisine with vendors full of diverse dishes. Went to the box office to purchase tickets for an event on April 2, 2021. The website states the box office is open from 12:30 to 5pm Mon - Fri. The box office was closed during the advertised business hours. So, I went to the business office to inquire.

I was met by a heavy set lady, in her late 60s, with raven black. She abruptly asked me " can I help you". I knew from her tone that I was going to receive little to no help from this lady. She asked me what day was the event I wanted to purchase tickets for and went into the back office to ask someone else about purchasing tickets. She came and said the event on April 2nd i canceled ( without knowing or checking for the name of the event). Also, the box office is only opened on the day of the event. I advised her to repory and update the website. It is misleading and they obviously do not have anyone there who knows what is going on or is...

Freestyle Under the Star. The show was awesome. Performers did very good. Sound should be better. Parking fee and payment method is ridiculous. Should let pay for your parking when you get the ticket. Price for drinks and food is ridiculous. In addition must pay in cash. The Atm ran out of money in minutes. It's very stupid not taking cards while vending outrageously overpriced super tiny drinks. They made peanuts with the Atm con and loose tons of money in the cocktails register. People was thirsty and hungry thank god music was so good to forget such a bunch of predicaments for a greedy business model.
