Crawford Park — Attraction in Mishawaka

I didn’t want to make a scene, but I honestly didn’t feel welcome there at all. The atmosphere was tense and uninviting, which is disappointing because their website says the park is “open and welcoming to everyone.” Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience.

‼️‼️ To the ladies who made me and my daughter feel like we didn’t belong there — you should honestly be ashamed of yourselves. With everything that’s going on in the world today, the last thing we need is more judgment and hate. You’re ignorant if you think I’d ever lower myself...

I would love to review this park but I couldn't figure out how to get there because as far as I could tell there were road construction and orange barriers at every single entrance. It's probably great if you live near it. Maybe it was closed for an event, or maybe it's the secret base for the lizard people, but mostly I'm just annoyed because I drove an hour specifically to meet someone there.

This park has lots of natural shade which is perfect for those who burn easily. It's also on the smaller side so it's easy to have a visual on your youngsters.
