This was a great find! It's close to the college life area and close to a lot of other little unique places to eat, but I fell in love with the look and so we turned around and parked. My husband was hesitant because there was absolutely no body else in there and we parked right in front with plenty of spaces beside us. It was around 6:30pm so he just questioned the fact that the other places were packed so maybe this was not going to be a good dining choice. I reassured him that it was Christmas break and most of the business was home for the holidays. I was right, and wrong. First of all, you order at the counter after reading the daily specials board or picking something off the regular menu, the phone at the counter never stopped ringing. They deliver for a dollar within a mile and add a dollar over that, so most of the business was delivery. The staff knew the regular customers well enough that holiday well wishes were made by name, nobody complained about the hour wait and the staff was super nice. They use this soft amazing pretzel bun for the burgers and the food was delicious, especially for the price. This will be a regular for date...

Visited multiple times, and each time narrowly avoided accidents in the parking lot due to reckless drivers—saved only by quick braking or accelerating. The parking is also inadequate for the restaurant's capacity.
The dining area is cramped and dreary, among the worst I've seen, with painfully slow service. Expect 30-45 minute waits every visit, no exaggeration. Tables are so close you’re practically sitting on top of each other, and navigating from the door to the counter without bumping into someone is a challenge.
Pricing seems geared toward Central Park event crowds, not locals. It’s not exorbitant, but noticeably higher than other spots offering similar sandwich quality.
I was a regular at their old location, but this one feels like they prioritized kitchen space over customer comfort and jacked up prices to match. I no longer go here, and instead take a longer drive to Old Style Deli in Elkhart, who does all of these things better, including the food and quality of the...
Read moreI've always ignored Scoobies because it looked like nothing, but recently I tried them and I was really surprised at how good the burgers are.
The first couple of times my husband and I just got bacon cheeseburgers, but after ordering the second time we notice the chalk board menu on the left wall and we were really excited by the specials.
Unfortunately, the Eddie Vedder (goat cheese and strawberry jam) was gone when we came in to buy it today. I was annoyed, since we were told previously that the specials don't change much, but I'm still giving them 5 stars because the Black and Blue burger I had in it's place was probably the best version of that burger I've ever had.
The prices are really reasonable, there's indoor and outdoor seating, the staff are friendly, and it looks clean.
You may have a bit of a wait even if it's not super busy and the parking can be nerve wracking to back out of. But you can fix both of those by calling in your order ahead of time and walking over...
