The Park and the stream are beautiful and well-managed. However, the policy of stocking the stream with very small (6-8 inch) trout is ruining the enjoyment of the fishing. When these small fish are caught, it's often difficult or impossible to unhook and release them without killing them, and no one wants to keep them. They are not the reason people fish at the Park. You should know that many fishermen are complaining while fishing, even if they aren't sending you their complaints. There is no point in releasing such small trout into the stream. The policy should be changed so that all released trout must be at least 12 inches and more trout bigger than that should be released.
