Old Maryland Farm — Attraction in Mitchellville

This family outing gave me inspiration and pride & privilege As a farm owner myself I know the extensive process it takes to manage daily routine maintenance and safety. Well please trust and believe there is no expense nor corner cut and there's a major surprise even for me as a fellow farm owner myself at the last display there's a definite standout eieio! It's a cost effective family and friends outing that even with some attractions down for repairs there's still enough going on that pleasant surprise 😮 No pictures this time 😢 though follow my blog for future posts. It was a modestly good time. To start, It seems we walked through a jungle (the short trail) to get there and were assaulted by large stealthy mosquitos. Besides that, there are no dress restrictions. We visited with two 3 year olds and a 6 year old. They were well enough engaged seeing the animals. I read that it was a petting zoo-its not. But you can feed one or two of the animals with some feed they have for sale. btw, it was free which is cool. If you plan to go, plan to let the little tikes wear themselves out at the park-which ours little ones enjoyed. We went in the evening shortly before closing and there were only 4 or 5 other families. So it wasn't crowded it at all but the animals seemed to have retired for the day. Old Maryland Farm is a hidden gem! I attended a free community event here, and it was an amazing experience. The farm animals were adorable, and it was such a treat to see them up close. They even had professional photography available, which made for the perfect keepsake.

The vendors were incredibly kind, offering a great variety of unique items and services, and the staff was welcoming and helpful throughout the event. It’s clear they genuinely care about creating a positive and family-friendly atmosphere.

This is a fantastic place to visit, and I highly recommend attending one of their events or just stopping by to enjoy the farm. You...
