My kids and I love to cool off in the potholes at Potato Salad Hill but people should be aware of the downsides: they can be quite hard to get down to, the flow is pretty unpredictable and that can really change the water dynamics, and don't expect any services or bathrooms or anything. Very fun place to watch people try the hill. If you want to try it, extreme caution. It is extremely steep and we would not attempt it with our jeep even though we have four-wheeled for over 23 years.
