I've supported this market for many years but what happened early this morning might have changed that. As I pulled on to the lot I saw one of the workers touching all over the trash dumpsters as if he had just took out some trash but he was rubbing dirty water off the lid. So I watched and waited for the 6'3 looking guy to head back into the market and I purposely walked in with him just to see if he was going to wash his hands and to my surprise he went around the counter and asked what could he get for me today so I said I would like a few pork chops after you wash your hands please. He didn't look to happy by my request as he went to the back. So while I was waiting I decided to ask the other guy to fix my order. So when the 6'3 looking guy came from the back he looked at me and told me to go back there and make my own order and he motioned towards the counter with his hands. I placed a curbside order that included oxtails from Sam's Club but didn't get nearly as big a package as I had hoped for. So I went to Meat Fair to add to it. I got a tail cut to the size I wanted. When I got home and looked at them, it was immediately noticable how much better the Meat Fair oxtails looked. All I will need to do before cooking is clean them. For the Sam's Club oxtails, I will end up wasting time trimming off a lot of extra fat that contributed to the weight of the package. The Meat Fair tails cost a little more, but by the time I finish trimming the others, I will have thrown away in excess fat the difference in the price. This is a small meat market with good looking fresh meat. My GIRLFRIEND want to pick up some smoke Turkey tails really good for seasoning your green an string beans ,an beans ,you can brake them apart like deboned them. For me get the lean an tender meat out AN I discard the rest. Well that is very tasty an yummy a great taste to add to your pot of food good eating. Well ANYWAY she also pick up some ham- shanks. MS.
