This library is really phenomenal. The facility itself, it’s programs for everyone of all ages.. and the STAFF! They are so incredibly kind and warm. You can tell they are happy when their hard work of putting together beautiful programs and resources for the community are utilized. They keep it absolutely pristine. The checkout process takes under 30 seconds on the machines (although then you’d miss the sweet interaction with the staff), my not even three year old did it herself basically. We live on the other side of town and having a drop off at the rec center is so convenient and thoughtful. The book mobile comes by too which we have to check out next time it’s near us. The children’s area (where I spend most of my time these days) is really great. This town takes pride in their library and you can feel it the second you walk in the door. It is such a privilege to have access to libraries and this one is top notch!!

Edited to add: my family has been visiting this library for some time now and we have only fallen more in love. The staff goes out of their way to help you, love to see everyone reading and they get to know you. My book mobile is seriously awesome and my daughter LOVES it. They have crafts, bookmarks, pencils, games, and of course books you can borrow. They’re all so friendly and go out of their way to make reading easy for you and your family. The library runs so many events for everyone, especially children. There is always something to do at the library and my three, almost four year old, really loves visiting both the library and the book mobile. As a frequent business traveler, I’ve worked from airports, hotels, and countless coffee shops—but I was genuinely impressed by this local library. Sometimes the quiet professionalism of a small-town library offers a better working environment than any café ever could.

Clean, well-organized, with reliable Wi-Fi and a peaceful atmosphere—it was exactly what I needed to focus and get things done. The staff were helpful without being intrusive, and the space felt both welcoming and efficient.

It’s easy to underestimate what smaller communities can offer, but this library is a great example of how public institutions still play a crucial role in supporting professionals, students, and remote workers alike. Highly recommend stopping in if you need a quiet, productive place to work.

Very nice well appointed town library. Very nice reading area with working fireplace and comfortable couches and chairs. Large community room with many events and lectures going on. Excellent large reading selection. From children to adult. Very quickly can get you any book you want if not in their collection. Lots of computers and tables to sit at to read or work. Reading and study rooms. Large selection of movie DVDs. Lots of parking and very nice grounds. Also nice art exhibition room.
