Greenbriar at Whittingham Gate — Local services in Monroe Township

This is a beautiful Senior Community housing for those that are 55 and over. Unfortunately, children are not allowed. However, Green Briar has a wonderful Golfclub, Meeting Rooms, Gym with lockers, and the Gym is furnished with almost every Equipment, a Nursing Bay, in case one gets hurt, a good Swimmingpool and gaming Roms and a good parking lot. Please don't just go there as you have to explain yourself while visit you are or simply the purpose of your visit. The security at the gate is very strict. Once i knew someone living in Green Briar and even though they moved out for advance medical treatment to an Assisted-in Setup, i used to say at the gate that I am there to do some wslking around with her. After she left I continued going there to walk for 45 minutes to an hour firm the next three months until I was caught. I apologized with a big guilty Smile saying because I had worked there, I thought everyone knew me and since I was only walking, I didn't realize that I couldn't walk any longer and the security let me go. my parents lived there for 26 years. They sold the place at a loss. There are no sidewalks or trails to encourage seniors to practice to play "tennis" . You would think they would let the seniors walk on the golf course on a trial temporary basis to see how popular it would be. My guess it would be more popular than residences golfing. I have tried that and was thrown off the golf course. No one was on the golf course anyway!

There is no good contigus sidewalk connection to the supermarket. They were originally promised a super market on the whitingham side. You would think they would make sure they had a good sidewalk connection to the super market at least.

This retirement community is very clean. The security gate makes sure u are going to a home by calling resident to say you are at the gate before letting you in. Its in a nice location near doctors and grocery store. There are a few other nice stores to visit and good places to eat in the same shopping center.
