This review is for the day in September where speranza animal rescue hosted a Bender's event here at Williams Grove historical steam engine, it was really awesome watching a community come together to support a great great cause. There were hundreds of vendors here on this day in September. It was also announced that they would be doing this next year as well. They ran a steam engine that you can ride adults and children that ran virtually the whole day. The only video and pictures I have were from my favorite vendor Lori's Cork creations. But the vendors that were here were all awesome and a lot of nice things for sale crafts to regular retail items. And there was an adoption going on on site. This was a wonderful turnout.

Monday & Tuesday are free entrance days into the Steam Engine fairgrounds. Rest of the week you pay by the carload. Supports their mission. Parking & signage confusing. Only saw port-a-potties. Tons of tractors & steam operated equipment. Neat little museum & model train display. Main food in same building as museum. Saw independent food trailers, but were not open. Train rides available at select times. Most flea market vendors not open on Monday. Not much shade or seating. Stay hydrated & bring your own chairs for the tractor parades.

We visited for the 67th Annual Steam Engine show. There were tractors amongst tractors among tractors. Tractor as far as you can see from gas engines, to steam engines, to diesel engines. All color shapes, sizes and ages. We got to ride a steam engine tractor ride and then the steam engine train. The grandkids thoroughly enjoyed them. The only downside was all the dust and smoke, otherwise a huge fun event for the entire family.

Ok, not impressed with some of the vendors price gauging essential items. I understand you can’t police everything they sell as it’s ever changing, however management needs to control things like that. It put a bad taste in my mouth.

Edit: Thank you for the response, I understand the non profit stand point, but maybe put it in an agreement or even a rule section/waiver that they must sign or agree to when they pay their "spot fee". As mentioned above you can not patrol/regulate everything, however just maybe vendors being aware of said regulations ahead of time will deter them from participating in this sort of...

My wife and I went to the flea market this morning. I've gone to this flea market ever since Silver Springs shut down. I will not return without an N-95 mask till the pandemic is better understood by the general public. 30% of the people had masks, the rest were mask-less. Which I expect, people are sheep. What really got under my skin was the fact that NONE of the venders were wearing masks. No one was attempting to enforce any CDC guideline. Can't wait for the county to go back on lockdown because people are to ignorant to think of their fellow...
