Texas Feed Stop — Attraction in Mont Belvieu

This is my go to feed store. Not only do they sell feed and fertilizer, they sell all types of parts to build or repair your deer feeder. They have deer corn and dog food too. Do you have empty propane tanks?these guys fill them in just a few minutes while you wait. They also have a real nice selection of genuine,made in America Case knives. Don't forget to get yourself a leather sheath for that knife while you're there. Go ahead and pick up a genuine Case sharpening stone too. Nice selection of ball caps too. Walking through the door is like taking a step back in time,friendly folks and prompt service. They have the lowest price on square hay bales in Mont Belvieu. My wife and I just got two puppies that needed dewormer. We come here expecting to find not only dewormer but also expert advise since this is a feed store. We asked the young lady which kind was the best. After handing us the brand she advised, she told us how much and how often to give it to them. There was not any instructions on the packaging so we took her word on it. She hit only told us the amount that was 3 times more than we should have given a puppy but it almost killed them. They had bloody stool and wouldn’t eat for almost a week. After looking online, we learned that they overdosed on dewormer and it could have killed then.

I’m sure this was an oversight by the young lady but don’t give advise like a pro if you have no earthly idea what...

Always very friendly staff and owner, very knowledgeable, and always ready to help customers, and i have to say in times when Houston area and the majority of Texas had freezing temps over a weeks period and power outages, Brian and his family and staff did not have to open there business to supply propane to the near by community, they could of stayed home and kept warm, but they did open and helped as many customers as they could to stay warm till they were completely out of propane. And that says a lot and will forever have my respects. Definitely recommend and will continue going here for my feed and...
