First off I've hiked a lot of trails and paths around California, and there is really not much wilderness to this trail. But here is the bigger reason I would NOT recommend walking this suburban trail, the first time my wife got a bad bug bite, the second time she got stung on the neck by a bee. She did not provoke the bee, in fact it was so fast I've never seen anything like it before, it flew up to her at high speed stung her immediately near the jugular on her neck and flew away in one quick motion. I didn't even know it happened until she told me because it looked like it just flew past her, but she was crying from the pain and i could see the honey bee stinger sticking out of her neck which i quickly removed and we got out of there so i could help treat her sting. Not something you ever want to have to deal with ever, let alone on a very hilly dirt trail. Due to the hills of sandy dirt make sure you are some what sure footed before attempting and If you are allergic to stings make sure you have your EpiPen injector on you if you decide to...
Read moreI love to take my kid and my dog walking around here. Only bad thing is that up on the dirt trail theres a lot of dog turds because people round here can be pretty inconsiderate and not bring bags or use the disposal stuff they recently put up. They put new benches as well. Keep this place clean you people with your nasty little white dogs... You know who you are! -(P/\U_ §·) We...
Read moreThe restrooms were not clean when I visited, there was flies everywhere, and the lighting is very dim and poor. Other than that, its peaceful, and it has plenty of shades. Tables, grills, and water fountains are available. There is a hiking trail for anyone interested. The park is divided into 2 small parks and is separated by a street. I wouldn't recommend bringing a ball to this park; it's more for barbecues and small gatherings. Careful with bugs, we got...
