Montville Community Playground — Attraction in Montville Township

Fabulous place for the family. Two playgrounds, one with the biggest/longest enclosed slide I've ever seen at a public park ever. A half dozen soccer fields, three full basketball courts, HUGE community garden, beach volleyball sandpit, several horseshoe pits, bocce ball pits, covered picnic area, restrooms are immaculate, plenty of parking, etc, etc. The only thing missing are tennis courts, otherwise I would have given Montville Park 5 stars. It's bizarre that there is what seems like a square mile of recreation space without a single tennis court. None the less, it's almost like an oasis; there's so much to do there. I'm at the Montville Community playground. it's okay. I've been to much nicer Community parks then this one in Tampa Florida where the playground equipment is not located in the middle of the Woods, but out in the open. What I don't like about this playground being in the middle of the woods is this sub ceptable to bears and child predators lurking in the woods. There's no sidewalks or bicycle paths that lead to this community park, you must drive a car. The alternative is to walk or bike ride on change Bridge Boulevard . Could be dangerous for children with all the traffic on...

Excellent playground. Large, lots of room for kids to play for hours (my kids did just that today). This is part of a larger park in Montville, with a basketball court, bocce courts, soccer fields and a community garden. Avoid the porta johns near the playground.
