Easy and moderate hiking trails. Good for children and the elderly. A lot of educational programs for children. The parking lot near Visitor Center is quickly filled up on weekends. Roadside parking is okay. Boonton Avenue actually divides this natural and historic park into two areas: Pyramid Mountain area where you can see the New York City skyline and a glacial erratic known as Tripod ; Turkey Mountain area where you can climb up 100 stone steps and see stone ruins.
