Great mountain with several hiking trails of varying lengths & nature (medium to very rough terrain). The maps at the visitor center could be better illustrated. I’ve been there with my wife about half a dozen times. We did the yellow-green trail & we did the blue to Tripod Rock & Lucy’s overlook & the orange trail to Whale Head and Bear Rock. The orange trail was long & rough.

Google maps direction is incorrect. It will lead you to a club... you will see the sign of the park on the way, and follow the sign instead of google maps. There’s a great visitor center.

I almost don't want to leave a review for this wonderful park right here in suburban New Jersey ! Wonderful rock formations to be found left her by the glaciers as they traversed New Jersey. Very well marked trails. Beautiful scenery and in the spring, during the correct few weeks, at the right time, there are spots that look like fairy gardens, when the mountain laurel is in bloom.
